Recently, someone asked why we’re encouraging guests to book PupVacay through the new Off-Leash Network instead of Sniffspot. Since we know many of our visitors are familiar with Sniffspot already, we thought we’d explain the difference!
First, we want to be clear: we’re still listed on Sniffspot, and we appreciate the platform for helping people discover private dog parks like ours. But we’re also excited to support a newer Canadian alternative that offers a few advantages for both hosts and guests.
The Biggest Difference? Pricing for Canadian Guests
Here’s the current pricing comparison for booking PupVacay:
Booking Through Sniffspot
- $12 USD for the first dog
- $6 USD for each additional dog
After currency conversion, that works out to approximately:
- $16.58 CAD for the first dog
- $8.29 CAD for each additional dog
Booking Through Off-Leash Network
- $12 CAD for the first dog
- $6 CAD for each additional dog
That means Canadian guests can save money simply by booking through a Canadian platform.
Why We Like Off-Leash
As a Canadian dog park host, we love supporting a platform built specifically for Canadian dog owners and hosts. We’re excited to see more local options become available in the private dog park space.
